VisPTT for Win95/98/NT/2000 was designed and developed to automate this often tedious administrative training tracking process for personnel within organizations and has been adapted from our popular VisSTT military software training management product after many customer requests were received asking us to produce a non-military version. As with our military VisSTT software application this software application uses the highly effective and practical training management methods developed over a long period of time by the U.S. military and which are just as relevant to the non-military world. The core principal of the military training management method is an individual is either considered trained or proficient or certified (ie; a "GO") in a designated training task or untrained or non-proficient or uncertified (ie; a "NO GO") in the same task. When it comes to training in the military there is no room for ambiguity and the bottom line no matter what word you choose is that the individual can either perform the task to the required standard based on a supervisory or test evaluation or that person can’t. This approach lends itself well to many training management needs in the commercial, institutional or governmental world. Once an individual’s data is recorded in the appropriate individual Information database you can then assign training tasks to that individual. After this task assignment has been accomplished the designated training supervisor for that individual then maintains the GO/NO-GO status for each training task assigned to that individual for as long as he/she is a part of that organization or unit. If an individual is transferred to another organization all individual and training task information recorded in the VisPTT databases can be exported and emailed to the gaining organization or unit for easy import into their copy of VisPTT.
